Bukit Raya National Park

Bukit raya national park is a natural tourist attraction that all-green . This object has become a national tourist.  location right on the border between West Kalimantan (Borneo west) and southern Kalimantan (South Borneo). This region played an important role in the hydrological function as a catchment area for WatershedMelawi in West Kalimantan and Watershed Katingan in Central Kalimantan.

 

The forest environment is a representative type of tropical rain forest ecosystem that dominates the mountain peaks Schwaner Mountains. Bukit Raya is a combination of Bukit Baka Nature Reserve in West Kalimantan and Nature Reserves Bukit Raya in Central Kalimantan. Here it has been found 817 plant species included in 139 families among Dipterocarpaceae, Myrtaceae, Sapotaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Lauraceae, and Ericadeae.  

 

There are also medicinal plants, forest orchids, flower Rafflesia (Rafflesia sp.) Which is the largest and also parasitic plants growing on Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia. Endemic plants among others Symplocos rayae, Gluta Sabahan, Dillenia beccariana, Lithocarpus coopertus, Selaginnella magnifica, and Tetracera, glaberrima.Other advantages of the national park Bukit Raya is the abundance of the kinds of parts such as Symplocos adenophylla Symplocaceae, Symplocos laeteviridis, Symplocos crassipis, Symplocos rayae and Symplocos rubiginosa.

 

here are some animals such as Among the bears, kesadu, ferrets wisel, orang utan (Pongo pygmaeus), langur gray (Presbytis cristata), langur black (Presbytis melalophos), sailor / maroon leaf monkey (Presbytis rubicunda), langur white forehead (Presbytis frontata), gibbon agile gibbon (Hylobates albibarbis), and kelempiau (Hylobates muelleri).
